Pianconference
Pain conferences are held regularly once a month, usually every first Tuesday of the month. Here, 20-30 doctors from many different disciplines come together to discuss problematic and interesting cases. After the patient has introduced herself and the complaints and previous therapies have been discussed, questions are asked and then discussed in the big round. These joint conferences are extremely fruitful and constructive. The fact that various disciplines such as pain therapists, general practitioners, gynecologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, neurologists, radiologists, orthopedists, anesthetists and neurosurgeons participate regularly, the individual diseases are illuminated from different angles. Not infrequently, new aspects can be worked out that give decisive impulses for further therapy.
